Cunningham Construction Ltd (CCL) is one of New Zealand’s leading scaffolding and rigging specialists and since the mid – 70s has been involved in all the major petrochemical construction projects, both onshore and offshore, in the country, particularly in its home base of Taranaki.

The company is a premium supplier of Scaffolding, Rigging and Access services to the industry, focusing on continuous improvement of their already excellent performance and productivity with commitment to safety management by all staff and field employees.

CCL has played a key role in providing scaffolding and rigging solutions for all major contractors and operators throughout New Zealand, from construction right through to maintaining these sites over the years. Cunningham Construction Ltd (CCL) has long been associated with the offshore and onshore petrochemical industry in New Zealand. CCL places a strong emphasis on health, safety and protecting the environment. This, along with their industry expertise, has helped to contribute to many successful projects in multiple industries including Petrochemical, Power Stations, Pulp and Paper Mills, Construction Projects and Production Stations.

CCL has played a major role in all of New Zealand’s core “Think Big” projects over the years including the construction and maintenance of all major Taranaki Oil & Gas sites.

Active sites that CCL are currently working on include Methanex NZ, Origin Energy, Ballance Agri Nutrients, Todd Energy and Winstones Pulp International.


At Cunningham’s they work tirelessly to ensure clients’ needs are met. They understand that unforeseen work scopes can arise at any time and at CCL the goal is to be in a position to deliver at all times.
