Cunningham Construction Ltd are looking for Qualified Scaffolders to join our team for work around Taranaki. We are inviting all applicants who have scaffolding experience to apply!
The key role is to ensure that scaffolding is erected and dismantled in a safe, timely and efficient manner so maintenance work can be carried out in a safe manner. You will be able to work within the strict Health and Safety guidelines we demand and have the ability to work within our team environment.
All candidates must have a New Zealand or Overseas scaffold qualification to be eligible.
Responsibilities include:
- Liase with clients and/or other trades to ensure that the scaffold erected is fit for its intended use.
- Ensure that all work is completed in a safe manner. Ensuring that you are familiar with all the site-specific hazards before commencing work.
Our ideal candidate will have a scaffold qualification (NZ Certificate of competence or an overseas equivalent (such as an NCII or Part 2 for example)). They will be a team player with good communication skills and want to thrive in a work environment that promotes career development and training.
Pre-employment medical testing including strict drug and alcohol testing will need to be passed and the candidate must have the legal right to live and work in NZ.

Hourly rate depends on experience, capability and performance.
